Creamy Baked Caesar Chicken

Y’all this melt in your mouth, creamy baked caesar chicken is one of the best and easiest weeknight recipes! So easy to throw together and ready in no time, everyone in your family will love it! The flavor is incredible and the crunchy texture of the breadcrumbs takes it over the top!

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese divided

  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 cup creamy caesar dressing (we like the “Kens” brand with roasted garlic)

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • 2 Tbs. Italian dressing (we love the Olive Garden dressing for this recipe)

  • 1 to 2 Tbs. Melted Butter

  • Panko and/or breadcrumbs

Here’s how to make it:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and spray the inside of an 9x 13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.

  • If the breasts are uneven thickness, pound them to an even ¾-1-inch thickness using a meat pounder.

  • Sprinkle the breasts (both sides) with 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and all of the freshly ground black pepper, and place them in the prepared baking dish.

  • Whisk together Caesar dressing, sour cream, and Italian dressing in a small bowl. Pour the Caesar/sour cream mixture over each breasts then sprinkle the remaining ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese on top.

  • Bake at 375°F for 20 minutes

  • While chicken is baking, melt butter and add to breadcrumbs/panko and mix together. You can also add more parmesan, pepper, or garlic powder to the breadcrumbs for more flavor!!

  • After 20 minutes, pull chicken out of oven, sprinkle the top with breadcrumb mixture and put back in the oven. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  • Turn the oven to broil and broil for about 2 minutes until top is golden brown. Watch closely not to burn!

  • Remove from the oven, cover loosely with foil and allow chicken to rest 5-10 minutes before serving.
