Casual Beach Day

Brian and I had so much fun at the beach this weekend! Although going in the winter definitely calls for getting creative as far as finding things to do. Most everything at the beach is outdoors, and when it's still 45 degrees outside, being outdoors isn't quite my idea of fun! But we ate our body weight in good food, and enjoyed many happy hours and netflix binge watching! I don't know how I have lived this long without ever watching Friends! We love it, and it has become our favorite thing to watch now!!

When your best friend tells you she bought a shirt and it's too long for her so she would rather just give it to you instead of have to return it, you know you have found your soul sister! And that's exactly how I got this beautiful top!! I love the keyhole neckline and just how flowy and girly it is!! And of course I had to pair it with these cute lace up flats I just bought at Target!! I'm pretty much obsessed with these shoes and will wear them till the soles fall out! Tomorrow is back to reality and our first day back at work in 5 days! Hopefully I won't sleep through my alarm! I feel like I'm still on beach time!

Monochromatic For V-Day

Sweater: Kohls, Jeans: Old Navy,
Coat: Old, Gloves: Old,
Shoes: Old Navy

I can't believe Valentine's Day will be here on Sunday! I feel like this year is already flying by! I have been packing all morning for our little beach getaway! We leave tomorrow and to say I'm excited is an understatement! It will be so nice to just be able to spend time together, relax, and enjoy a different scenery.

When I saw this sweater at Kohls, I had to have it! I love the tiny white polka dots and just how girly it is! I knew it would be perfect for V-Day! When Brian and I were shooting this look, it got really windy and super cold. I just happen to have this coat in my car, which ended up being perfect! I love the color contrast of the two pinks, plus the pink from the roses! I will be posting my drugstore makeup haul on my Youtube channel either later today or tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that! Hope yall have a great week!

Valentine's Date Night Outfit

Coat: Old Navy, Clutch: Aldo,
Heels: Target, Jewelry: Bauble Bar & Kendra Scott

It is officially February, which means it's LOVE month!! It's also Brian's birthday month, and this year he will be 30!!! Shhh, don't tell him, I told y'all how old he is getting! So we have lots of exciting things to celebrate this month! I think I have told y'all before, but for Valentine's day, we just like to do a nice dinner, sometimes at home even, and really spend quality time together! There have been years where we went out, but usually if we do that, then we wait till a few days after V-day so we don't have to deal with the crowds. Not to sound like we don't like people, but we just don't like being in a bunch of chaos and lines and waiting! Can y'all feel me?!

This year we are going to the beach for a few days the week of Valentines day, so we will probably go out and celebrate then! I thought this outfit would be perfect for that! It's not too dressy and not too casual! I LOVE this coat! I just got it at Old Navy and I have to say the quality of it is wonderful! Sometimes with my job, since I wear the same thing everyday, #uniform, I don't feel like I get to really wear my heels and dress up ever. So it is nice to have special occasions when I can! What are y'alls V-Day Plans?!!
