Weekend In Blowing Rock

Shirt: Old Navy, Vest: Old Navy,
Booties: Clarks, Earrings: Kendra Scott

Blowing Rock is one of my favorites places in this world! I love weekends in the mountains this time of year. Being able to see all of the leave change colors and fall to the ground, the crisp mountain air and warm coffee while window shopping! There is nothing better!! We had such a great weekend spending time with my family and getting to see some App State football!

You know how much I love a vest, add fringe and I love it even more! This one is so warm and soft! I always get a ton of questions about these boots! They are Clarks and I got them last year but here is a similar pair! For more of my Fall fashion staples, watch my Youtube video here! Don't forget to go Vote today!!

Pink and Teal Flannel

Flannel: Old Navy, Jeans: American Eagle,
Bag: Old, Booties: Clarks, Jewelry: Michael Kors and Kendra Scott

Wearing flannel is one of my favorite things about Fall. Especially when the flannel is a little more girly, like this one! I love the colors of the shirt and how wearing a bright pink lip and/or pink accessories really make the pink pop in the top! Flannel is such a great layering piece for vest's or scarves and definitely a Fall staple that everyone needs in their wardrobe! Even Men! When Brian wears his flannel tops with jeans, insert heart eye emojis times 10!! I think it is so handsome and so manly! I think I should talk Brian into letting me dress him up, and I'll take the pictures, and he can model some #ootds for husbands!!

Fall Floral

Dress: Nordstrom, Sandals: Target(Old),
Earrings: Bauble Bar, Necklace: Kendra Scott

Happy Monday! Sorry it has been so long since my last post. With us being in Canada last week, it was hard to post anything! Speaking of Canada, I seriously could move there! Niagara Falls was breath taking! I could have just stared at it for hours! I was thinking of doing an entire blog post about our trip, so I won't go into too much detail now!

Let's talk about this dress! I know I say a lot of things are my favorite (Brian reminds me all the time that I have 1 million favorite things) but this dress is my FAVORITE!!!! I love the dark navy blue color, especially for Fall. This dress is stretchy and so comfortable to wear, I could sleep in it. The back has a cute keyhole cutout that just makes it even better! If the weather ever actually decides to feel like Fall, I'll pair it with tights, booties and a blue jean jacket!

As many of you know, I am one of those annoying people who are obsessed with Christmas! I have already switched my pandora to Christmas Music station and its not coming off till January! But this past week, I have been having the urge to watch the Christmas movies on Netflix. I literally feel like I have an addiction and I'm feening to see them. I'm trying to hold myself back for Brian's sanity, but the urge is just too much to bare! Hallmark will start showing their movies on October 29th!!!!! I'm trying to wait till at least that day. Y'all pray for me!

Falls Perfect LBD

Dress: Altar'd state, Boots: Aldo,
Clutch: Old, Earrings: Kendra Scott

Let me go ahead and state the obvious. In the middle of shooting this dress, I changed my hair to a top knot instead of just a high pony. So yes, my hair is different in half of these pictures. When in doubt, top knot!

Any who, if you have a wedding to attend this fall, or a fancy date, this is your dress! I love the long sleeves, the details of the lace flowers embroiderey, and the overall structure of this dress! It is so flattering and comfortable to wear! As the weather gets colder, I'll pair it with tights! I found these suede black booties at Aldo last week and have worn them almost every single day since! They go with everything!!

Brian and I have such a busy week! We leave for Canada on Thursday and have so much to pack and get together before we go! I checked the weather today and while we are there, the high is 55!!! I am too excited for words! I have already pulled out all of my vests, scarfs, Uggs, and jackets! I have a feeling my suitcase is not going to fit all of this!!

Olive Leopard

Top: Express, Shoes: Nordstrom (Halogen)
Jewelry: Kendra Scott, Sunglasses: BP Nordstrom, Lip: Bite-Brandy

Do you get my title? My shirt is Olive green and I Love (olive) leopard! Haha, yes I'm that corny person who should never make jokes. #guilty. Okay, does anyone else think we have had the hottest September ever?! We are days away from October and somehow its still 90 degrees! I haven't let it stop me though. Even if I have to peel my jeans off of me, and wring out my sweater from sweat, I'm wearing fall clothes!

This type of outfit is a staple when it comes to dressing for "this time of year." I have never met an oversized sweater that I've turned down. Pair it with some jeans and fun printed or colorful shoes to add a pop of excitement to your outfit and their you go! Fall 101! Add a PSL to your right hand and your basically basic.

All Black and Camo

Jacket: Altar'd State, Heels: BCBG, Bag: TJ Maxx,
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban, Pants: Old Navy, Jewelry: Bauble Bar

I feel like I need to just stop right here, before we go any further and let us all take a moment for this jacket.

Okay, now that we got that out of the way! Holy Moly, is it not the cutest?! I will be honest with y'all, I really try to buy and show you more affordable pieces so that everyone can purchase them, but I will spend a little bit extra for true staple pieces! This jacket being one of them! It's still less than $100 but more than I would normally spend I would say! However, this jacket fit me like a glove, it was everything I had been searching for in a camo jacket, and the quality was amazing! Be warned you will see me wear this at least 50 more times before spring!

Now moving on to this bag! Y'all, I was in TJ Maxx, minding my own business, looking for Fall decorations when my buggy just happen to turn down the purse isle. I have not bought a purse from TJ's in years! All of a sudden I see the most beautiful burgundy bag, with tassels, and it was love at first sight! Then I check the price, because you know it could be love at first sight but not purchase at first sight if my bank account doesn't like it. It was $25!!!!! Oh happy dayyyyyyy!

And last but not least, if your curious about my crazy, gold glitter, pumps that I die for, I found them on sale about a week ago for less than $30! I have been hitting jackpot a lot lately! Happy Hump Day!! We're almost to the weekend!

Fall Denim

Denim Top: Old Navy, Jeans: Old Navy,
Bag: Kate Spade, Hat: Target, Booties: Clarks

I wore this casual Fall inspired look last night to dinner with Brian! We of course had Mexican food. Would you expect anything different at this point? If you follow me on snapchat, then you definitely know what I'm talking about! If you don't follow me, then you should! @bunkeylove

But this top will be on constant repeat all fall! I can't wait to layer it with a vest or a scarf and pair it with a skirt and tights! If you don't own a denim button down, then my advice is to invest in one, or get this same one that I have on sale right now at Old Navy! I don't know how I didn't own one until now. But it's definitely a staple and a must have for any closet! The outfits you can create with this top are endless!

Dress: Altar'd State, Shoes: Target,
Bag: Old Navy, Sunglasses: Amazon(GMat)

Happy Thursday y'all!! I had so many questions about this dress after I posted it on my Instagram a few weeks ago, that I thought I would do a blog post about it! Seriously it has been on constant repeat since I bought it! Its effortlessly adorable, so soft and comfortable, and can be worn now and in Fall!! I got it from Altar'd State which is one of my favorite stores!! If y'all live in the Charlotte area and have not been to their new location at South Park mall, you MUST!!! You will thank me later! And if I'm not mistaken, all dresses are buy one get one 1/2 off right now!!

In other news, The Blacklist season 3 just came out on Netflix and Brian and I are sooooooo excited! Thats definitely going to be our Fall netflix and chill series! What other shows do y'all love on Netflix? Sadly our Friends marathon will come to an end tonight, and I can barley come to terms with it. Why did they not continue making that show for 10 more years?

Maroon and Braids

Dress: Old Navy, Bag: Old,
Heels: Steve Madden, Jewelry: Kendra Scott

I can already tell, this maroon color will be on repeat this fall and so will this dress! Y'all can probably recall my black short sleeve dress that looks just like this. Well it is one of my favorite dresses of all time for how versatile and comfortable it is. I have worn it at least 2-3 times per week since I bought it, and when I saw that Old Navy came out with a long sleeve version of the same dress in this beautiful color for Fall and it was 40% off, I HAD to have it!! I can just invasion wearing this dress with tights and boots and maybe my camo jacket!!! Here I go again, rambling about Fall. Speaking of, I bought a pumpkin decoration at Hobby Lobby today, along with a pumpkin candle! Is it too early to start decorating?!

With Fall quickly approaching, I can't help but go ahead and start shopping for cooler weather! I'm so stinking excited for fall clothes, layering vest and scarves, boots, and all the other things that make this time of year so warm and fuzzy! I thought it would be fun to break down all of my Fall must haves!!

Seriously y'all, the 90s called and wants their denim back! Denim is going to be so popular this Fall! Whether you are rocking the denim skirt with tights and boots or making sure you have a staple denim jacket in your wardrobe, you can't go wrong! I kind of love the thought of just being able to throw on a jean jacket with black pants or a dress and go! #sogrunge

I don't know if you have embraced this trend, but its not going anywhere. I am obsessed with camo! Just like leopard, camo will definitely be a neutral for your wardrobe. Pair it with gold jewelry and hot pink heels to make it more feminine or black jeans and a beanie for a more relaxed, edgy look!

Lets talk jewelry first! Everywhere I look, I see two things. Stones and chokers! Earrings and bracelets with big stones are sure to make a statement. And as if we were not already repeating the 90s to a T, chokers are so big right now! For a less expensive DIY, cut a strip of a bandana and use it as a choker. Or get a long piece of suede cord, wrap it around your neck a few times, and finish it with a bow in the front!

Finding cool, vintage looking sunglasses will help make your outfit look more chic. Try finding ones that are circular or cat eye and in different, fun, colors! I love the Quay brand!

I can't walk by a hat and not try it on! I love a floppy hat for Fall outfits and a baseball cap to run errands in. I just recently got into wearing baseball caps and I don't know why this is so new to me! When I don't want to wash or fix my hair, I just throw on a cute cap and go!

I think I might have to break down and get this army green Tory Burch cross body! I have major heart eyes for it!! I think having less stuff in my purse means less clutter and less arm breaking off because it's so heavy! That's why I love a cross body so much! The last 3 purses I have bought have been a cross body! I want something big enough for my wallet and sunglasses, but thats about it! These two colors will never go out of style, so investing in a quality camel or army green bag, will be beneficial for years to come!!

Sorry this post is so long! You're amazing if you made it to the end! Thank you so much for reading and y'all let me know what styles and pieces you are loving for Fall!!

Purple Gingham

Dress: Old Navy, Shoes: Target,
Bag: Versona, Sunglasses: Ray Ban

I wore this cute little dress last night to run some errands and get dinner with Brian and thought y'all might want to see it! I made him pull over in some random field and snap a few pictures! That man sure does love me! But on to this outfit, I think this dress is super girly so I wanted to give it a little bit of an edge. I paired these lace up black flats with it and I think they were the perfect contrast! We ended up going to this little dive bar and getting chicken wings, so I may have been a little overdressed! But if you ask me, its better to be overdressed than underdressed! Hope y'all are having a great week!
