Holiday Gift Guide: Stocking Stuffers

Holiday Gift Guide: Stocking Stuffers

Can you believe Christmas is next week? I feel like this year, it's just flying by! I still have so many gifts to get and wrap! If you are like me and have waited till the last minute, these are some great ideas for stocking stuffers or even for your girlfriends!

You can never go wrong with Starbucks and Target gift cards! The more the merrier! And I am all about the Alex and Ani bracelets for just about anyone on your gift list! Each one is so unique and has such a special meaning, it's hard to go wrong with this beautiful bracelet!

For your beauty essentials, the Philosophy Fresh Cream lotion (I know I talk about it all the time) is the BEST lotion I have ever smelled! A rollerball of your favorite fragrance, or even a new makeup brush is perfect!

I love getting new scarfs or cozy socks! This time of year they are a necessity and something that we don't always think about buying for ourself. And I love a pair of fabulous gloves! They just make such a statement!! Hope these ideas help! I love reading other people's gift guides to see what they like also! If you have any other great ideas, let me know! Happy Tuesday Beautiful!

Scarf Obsessed

Scarf: Julie's Boutique, Jacket: Kohls,
Dress: Target, Clutch: Old, Sunglasses: Forever 21

Oh Monday you are back again! At least I can say that I am feeling so much better today! I hope y'all had a great weekend! Brian and I went to a beautiful engagement party Saturday night and pretty much laid on the couch, slept, and watched football yesterday. We needed a day to just rest!

If you follow me on Instagram, I'm sure you have seen this scarf a time or two! It is my favorite accessory, my favorite scarf, and my favorite thing to wear this time of year! It's huge like a blanket scarf, I love the pattern, and it makes the simplest outfits look so much cuter! And I have to tell you about these sunglasses! First of all, Brian will never buy me nice sunglasses because he says I loose them all the time, and they just get thrown in my purse so Target and Forever 21 is what I have to resort to as far as my sunnies go! A couple of weeks ago, I was cleaning out some boxes from when we moved (yes we still have unopened boxes) and I found these beauties!! I had bought them when we lived in Florida and completely forgotten about them! I guess Brian is right, sometimes.

My Contour Routine

My Contour Routine

Happy Friday y'all!! I hope you are having a wonderful Holiday season, decorating, eating lots of yummy food, and spending time with your loved ones! My loved ones won't come within 10 ft. of me! They love me, but for the past going on 8 days now, I have had a fever, body aches, sore throat, lost my voice, pink eye which started in my left eye and has now traveled into my right eye, and any and everything else you can imagine! I need prayers for health and to get back to my normal life! But anywho on to contouring! This is exactly what I use everyday and they are my go-to absolute favorites so I wanted to share them with you! Plus its simple and easy and everyone uses a concealer, blush and bronzer, so you don't have to feel like you need to go out and buy a bunch of crazy products to achieve the result you want!

1. & 2.- I put these together because they are like the milk to your cookies. After I have applied my foundation with my Beauty Blender, I use my Nars radiant creamy concealer and basically draw a large check symbol on both sides under my eye. Going from the inner corner of me eye, down each side of my nose and out to the outer end of my eye. Then with my damp beauty blender I just blend that all out! It gives the best natural highlight under the eye! When you use the BB with the Nars concealer, its like magic! Perfectly blended out!

3. Then I use Too Faced Milk Chocolate soleil bronzer. They also have just the chocolate soleil, but its a little darker and more of what I would use in the summer. These are completely matte and truly the perfect color for a natural contour. I apply the bronzer with Sephora collection #74 contour brush starting from the top of my ear to the middle of my cheek and blend until I get the results I want!

4. Then using which ever blush you like, I go just above where I placed the bronzer, almost overlapping them, and blend from the apple of my check back to the top of my ear. And usually with blush, I don't want it to look like there is a clear line or stopping point, so I will swipe upwards onto my temples just so it will pull my cheekbones higher and look like it naturally fades!

Hope this is helpful! I get asked this question all the time so I wanted to share with y'all! I also linked some of my favorite contour kits and highlighters you could also use!! Let me know if you have any questions about those!
